The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the Financial Coaching Hybrid Course. The training will begin on August 14th-18th, 2023. 

Through video lectures, activities, and assessments, this course teaches the fundamentals of financial coaching with a focus on real-world application. Designed for competency-based learning, it helps students build the skills needed to succeed on the job. Expect to spend about 20 hours over 1 week on this fully online course via Blackboard Learn.

Financial coaching is a valuable evolution in the field—designed for clients who are beyond crisis and ready to take action toward their goals. Unlike counseling, coaching focuses on listening, asking powerful questions, and helping clients create their own action plans.

This course will help you understand when coaching is most effective and how to integrate coaching techniques into your counseling practice. Coaching doesn't replace counseling—it expands your impact.

Live class times will begin and end promptly at the timeframes indicated on the agenda.  Each participant is required to be present for the entirety of the live class time and can expect to commit 3-4 hours each day.  Exceptions to this will need to be addressed individually to ULA by email at learning@unidosus.org.
