The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the eLearning Calculations in Housing Counseling. The training will begin on April 7th through April 11th, 2025.

Does hearing the phrase "Let's do some math!" give you cold chills or make your brain shut down? Do you love your job until you have to calculate numbers? If so, register for the Calculations for Housing Counselors online autonomous class and crush your fear once and forever. The course will help you establish a basic foundation to build on little-by-little. Nail down the steps to calculating income. Learn and apply the underlying concepts and principles behind the calculation of ratios (housing, DTI, and cost to benefit), closing cost and down-payment amounts, APR, amortization and more. Master the "math language" used in housing counseling, build your confidence, and serve your clients even better than before.

Our eLearning courses are designed to provide options to multiple types of learners in an asynchronous format. We provide training materials and exercises that can be done at your own pace. So, no needing to login at a certain time or completing assignments on a particular day, you can do this from work or home 24/7 within the scheduled dates of your course. The course manual sections can be downloaded and saved right to your desktop or you have 30 days from the course end date to log back in and review the materials.

The course is scheduled for April 7th through April 11th, 2025, to provide a facilitator for students that may require another level of engagement. The facilitator is there to:

• answer any questions related to the curriculum
• participate in collaborative discussions
