The UNIDOSUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the Pre-Recorded Predatory Lending Webinar. This training is a pre-recorded training, and the course will be available from Monday, July 14th through Friday, July 18th, 2025. This webinar class will be accessible from any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection via Blackboard Learn web application. Blackboard mobile is also available via Android and iOS.

The rise in aggressive, high-cost predatory lending during the last two decades has caused deep and widespread havoc on the American economy. Consumers have borne the brunt of the fallout from the crisis through foreclosures, loss of home equity, displacement, and the emergence of a highly restrictive credit marketplace. This webinar is designed to give counselors and advocates a brief overview of abusive lending practices – both in the high-cost small loan and mortgage lending marketplace.
