The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the eLearning Foundation of Pre-Purchase Course. The training will begin on April 4th through April 8th, 2022.

Purchasing a home is one of the largest purchases most consumers will make. Many homebuyers find the process to be overwhelming if they have not received pre-purchase education and counseling. Housing Counselors are in a key position to equip homebuyers with the knowledge they need to successfully navigate the homebuying process.

Fundamentals of Pre-purchase 101 will help counselors keep HUD’s expectations in mind while laying the foundation to help homebuyers attain and retain a home purchase. The course will discuss which topics to discuss in a counseling session and help participants gain basic knowledge of the purchasing process. 

Our eLearning courses are designed to provide options to multiple types of learners in an asynchronous format. We provide training materials and exercises that can be done at your own pace. So, no needing to login at a certain time or completing assignments on a particular day, you can do this from work or home 24/7 within the scheduled dates of your course. The course manual can be downloaded and saved right to your desktop or you have 30 days from the course end date to log back in and review the materials.
