The UNIDOSUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the Disaster Victims Counseling Webinar. It is a live on-line training that can be taken directly from your office. The training will take place on March 19th, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM EST. Upon confirming your registration, you will receive the call-in information and a link to download your materials for the course.

This course offers a unique combination of topics for counselors focusing on the following:

• Learn about short-term and long-term options
• Financial issues related to homes being destroyed
• Understanding the role of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in disaster situations
• Working with insurance companies
• Reaching out to Other assistance programs
