The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the eLearning Fundamentals of Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Counseling course. Training will begin on July 6th through July 26th, 2021.

Fundamentals of Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Counseling covers the fundamentals of housing counseling in addition to the counseling structure, templates, training on client management systems, and HUD housing counseling requirements. This course is unique from other introductory trainings as it explains the counseling process in addition to providing the factual information that new housing counselors need to perform their job effectively.

Our eLearning courses are designed to provide options to multiple types of learners in an asynchronous format. We provide training materials and exercises that can be done at your own pace. So, no needing to login at a certain time or completing assignments on a particular day, you can do this from work or home 24/7 within the scheduled dates of your course. A scheduled, live Q&A session will be announced by your instructor and a notice will be sent prior to the session. The course manual can be downloaded and saved right to your desktop or you have 30 days from the course end date to log back in and review the materials.

The course is scheduled for July 6th through July 26th, 2021 to provide a facilitator for students that may require another level of engagement. The facilitator is there to provide:

• a syllabus with a schedule of office hours and introduction to the course
• answer any questions related to the curriculum
• participate in collaborative group discussions
• provide a live Q&A session
