The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the First-time Homebuyers Creating Effective Email Campaigns Webinar Part 2 .  It is an on-line training that can be taken directly from your office. Access to this training on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 from 12:00 PM- 2:00PM EST.  This webinar class will be accessible from any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection via Blackboard Learn web application. Blackboard mobile is also available via Android and iOS. 

According to a recent study by the National Realtor’s Association, 82% of renters indicated that homeownership is a desired goal, but many of them do not know where to start in the process and some struggle with the next steps even after attending a first-time homebuyer class.  This creates a great opportunity for housing counseling agencies to serve these customers, helping to navigate their entire journey in purchasing a home. One inexpensive, yet effective way to do this is through running email marketing campaigns. In fact, email marketing is 40 times more effective than Facebook and Twitter combined. With email, subscribers are looking for content that helps them to solve their problem or reach a specific goal.  Unfortunately, housing counseling agencies lack time and a formal understanding of how to use email marketing tools that can help them serve first-time homebuyer customers efficiently and effectively outside of routine counseling services.  

 The Master Follow-up with First-time Homebuyers: Creating Effective Email Marketing Campaigns webinar series will show participants how to utilize email campaigns to serve first-time homebuyers beyond counseling sessions. This two-part series will include the following:  

Part Two: Four Types of Email Campaigns for First-Time Homebuyers  

This 2-hour session will show participants how to specifically create four email campaigns for first-time homebuyer customers based on where they are in the process. This includes pre-counseling and course registration, post-counseling and course attendance, serving non-mortgage-ready customers, and post-purchase customers. These email campaigns will allow the housing counseling agency to serve these customers seamlessly, while providing other routine services.
