The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the Methods in Effective Rental Counseling via its newest course format:  Online (Hybrid) Distance Learning. The training will begin on January 12th through January 14th, 2021 from 8:30am- 1pm.

The class will be hosted virtually over several days and with live instruction from multiple trainers. Get all of the key content in 4 hour modules (with stretch breaks and lunchtime built in). A manual will also be shipped directly to you to follow along in class. The hybrid class will be accessible from any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection via Blackboard Learn web application.

The Methods in Rental Counseling course covers the fundamentals of counseling a client including intake screening, financial literacy, tenant and landlord responsibilities, fair housing, and the eviction process. This course will prepare housing counselors to effectively counsel clients to become sustainable and knowledgeable renters.
