The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the Eviction Prevention Workshop Webinar.  It is a live on-line training that can be taken directly from your office. The training will take place on February 24, 2021  at 12:00p.m. -2:00 p.m. EST. Upon confirming your registration, you will receive the call-in information and a link to download your materials for the course.

This interactive webinar will build your skills in supporting clients facing eviction. The workshop will focus on working with clients who have been impacted by a COVID-19 economic hardship.

How to support them in

• Finding available resources
• Negotiating a payment plan
• Legal processes in order to avoid eviction.

California and federal executive orders, court directives, and legislative changes related to eviction will be covered with a focus on their impact.
