Payment Policies Checks must be made out to UnidosUS. Mail to: All checks must be received at this address ten days prior to the first day of class. Checks will not be accepted after this point or at registration. Credit Cards Registration FeesPlease note that the registration fees for a training are nonrefundable. Once you have completed your registration and made payment, we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. Cancellation Policy:Cancellations received more than 30 days in advance will be fully refunded. A $60 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations that are not received more than 30 days prior to the first day of the course. This fee covers payment-reversal fees from the credit card company. A $100 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made between 30 days and 11 days prior to the first day of the course. This fee covers payment-reversal fees from the credit card company. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE LESS THAN 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE COURSE. Your account will be charged for the full amount of tuition. However, you may choose to apply this charge—minus a $100 cancellation fee—toward registration for a future course.
Attendance Policy:Hybrid Courses: Individuals attending hybrid courses must enter the course room for the LIVE session on time according to the class start time. Attendees must remain in the course's LIVE sessions with their cameras ON for the entire scheduled time each day to receive credit and a Certificate of Course Completion. Attendance will be monitored throughout the duration of the course's LIVE sessions. Failure to meet attendance requirements will result in course disenrollment, forfeiture of your payment or scholarship. Additionally, your agency may lose eligibility for scholarships for the remainder of the fiscal year. In-Person Courses: Individuals attending in-person courses must remain in class for the entire scheduled time each day to receive credit and a Certificate of Course Completion. Attendees must arrive promptly for the start of class and remain actively engaged in class until it ends. Cell phone and personal laptop use are not permitted during class, except on breaks. Attendance will be recorded at the start of class and after breaks. Failure to meet attendance requirements will result in course disenrollment, forfeiture of your payment or scholarship, and ineligibility for travel reimbursement. Additionally, your agency may lose eligibility for scholarships for the remainder of the fiscal year. Webinars In order to receive a certificate of course completion: Individuals attending a webinar course must make the appropriate arrangements to remain in the class until 2:30pm ET. Participants are expected to have Audio/Visual availability throughout the session. We ask that you test your system as previously explained in your login instructions. The course room will become available 15 minutes prior to start time (12pm ET), please make sure to adjust for your own time zone. Failure to meet login requirements will result in course disenrollment, forfeiture of your tuition payment or scholarship. Additionally, your agency may lose eligibility for scholarships for the remainder of the fiscal year. eLearning courses Individuals attending courses must have logged into the course once within the first 2 days of the course start date in order to be accounted for. Failure to meet login requirements will result in course disenrollment, forfeiture of your tuition payment or scholarship. Additionally, your agency may lose eligibility for scholarships for the remainder of the fiscal year. Instructors are not authorized to make exceptions to this rule. |
